Diane C. Recine, MD has been practicing radiation oncology in Phoenix and Scottsdale since 1997. Prior to coming to the valley, Dr. Recine practiced as a Radiation Oncologist at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, IL where she also held an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Rush Medical College. She also held the position of Director of Residency Program, Department of Radiation Oncology at the medical center. Prior to joining Rush-Presbyterian, Dr. Recine practiced at the University of Chicago Hospitals where she also held an appointment as instructor. Dr. Recine has been practicing at Scottsdale Radiation Oncology Center since 2003 and Arizona Center for Cancer Care since 2013 at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center at Scottsdale Healthcare. Dr. Recine joined Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers with the opening of the new comprehensive Cancer Center in Scottsdale. Her areas of clinical expertise and specialization include the treatment of breast cancer, lung cancer, lymphomas, soft tissue sarcomas, gastrointestinal cancer, head and neck cancer, skin cancer and malignant brain tumors. She has extensive experience in state-of-the-art technology including Linac based stereotactic radiotherapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image guided radiation therapy (IGRT). Dr. Recine earned her medical degree at University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School, and completed a residency in Radiation Oncology at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology.
