Dr. Hauser is a member of several professional organizations including the Society for Inherited Metabolic Disorders, American Society of Human Genetics and American College of Medical Genetics. She has published in "Pediatric Research" and the "American Journal of Neuroradiology." Dr. Hauser received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. She completed residencies in pediatrics at Childrens Medical Center and medical genetics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Hauser completed a medical biochemical fellowship at National Institute of Health/Childrens National Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.
