Dr. Gonchigar completed his Anesthesiology residency and fellowship in Pain Management at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA. He also briefly served as faculty at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, prior to moving to Maryland. Dr. Gonchigar is board certified in Anesthesiology and also subspecialty certified in Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is an active member of the American Pain Society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management. Dr. Gonchigar is the Chairman on the Board of Anesthesia at Civista Medical Center. He is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with his family, hiking and canoeing.
