Michael Hoosien, MD MSc, received his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He continued his training with an internal medicine residency at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital, a post-doctoral fellowship in molecular cardiology at the Miller School of Medicine, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and cardiac electrophysiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He also holds a masters degree in biotechnology and bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Hoosien is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He is bilingual and fluent in both English and German. Dr. Hoosien treats patients with cardiac arrhythmias. He has a special interest in catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation, management of supraventricular and ventricular tachycardia, and cardiac resynchronization therapy. In his spare time, Dr. Hoosien enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and art. Dr. Hoosien welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
