Dr. Michael Kahn grew up in the south suburban Chicago village of Flossmoor. He
received his Bachelors Degree in Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 1981. Subsequently he attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and graduated in 1985. He then went on to complete a three year Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois. His residency concluded in 1988. Following his residency, Dr. Kahn practiced Internal Medicine for approximately five years. In 1995 Dr. Kahn completed his oncology fellowship at
Rush Presbyterian St-Luke’s Medical Center. His research focused on inflammatory breast cancer. Dr. Kahn joined Cancer Care & Hematology Specialists of Chicagoland in 1995. He expanded the practice from Arlington Heights to Wheaton in 1998.
Dr. Kahn lives in the Western suburbs with his three children. They enjoy traveling in the U.S., tennis, photography, and participating in various sports as a family
