Born and raised in The Netherlands, Dr. Geurts is a graduate of the University of Amsterdam Medical School. He completed a residency in tropical medicine with a focus on surgery and obstetrics in Baarn, The Netherlands. He was a medical officer/physician for 3 1 years at the 200 bed Likuni Hospital, Malawi, Africa. In 2003, he completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Vermont and joined Grace Cottage. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
