Brief Intro

Matt Desena MD received his undergraduate education at the University of Massachusetts, at Amherst. He received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago medical School. Dr. Desena performed his residency in pediatrics at the University of South Florida/ All Childrenâ€™s Hospital. He has been practicing pediatrics since 1995 and has maintained his board certification. Dr. Desena has special interest in infectious diseases and community education. Dr. Desena is busy in his off time as a hockey dad, as 2 of his 3 children are involved in travel programs, and as a dance dad for his other child. Matt is also a softball player and participates in the Londonderry menâ€™s league. He also enjoys golf, hiking and fishing. He also is an avid reader, enjoying books by Stephen Hawking and Kip Thorne, among others.
