Dr. Campbell is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Biochemistry and Art. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit and a Masters in Health Care Administration from the University of Colorado in Denver. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids and a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Wayne State University, Detroit. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. Memberships include Kent County Medical Society, Michigan State Medical Society and American Medical Association. Dr. Campbell is a Board of Trustee of Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids, as well as a board member of the Spectrum Health Foundation. Dr. Campbell has been a member of Cancer and Hematology Centers of Western Michigan since 1980, and serves as the corporate president. He is the executive director of the Spectrum Health Regional Cancer Network.
