Dr. Mahan is a Southern Indiana native. She graduated from Indiana University in 1985 and received her Medical Degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1989. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1993. Dr. Mahan joined the medical staff at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Ob/Gyn Associates of Southern IN in 1993. She has been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1995. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Floyd County Medical Society, the Indiana State Medical Association and the Louisville Obstetric and Gynecologic Society. She is also a Clinical Instructor in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health at the University of Louisville. Dr. Mahan resides in Floyd Knobs with her husband and daughter. In addition to family activities, she enjoys working out, theater and travel.
