Dr. Borden was born in Fayetteville North Carolina. She graduated from Emory University in 1985 and received her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1989. Her postgraduate training was done at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, completing a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1993.
Dr. Borden practiced in Tucson, Arizona for 5 years and joined Ob/Gyn Associates of Southern IN and the medical staff at Floyd Memorial Hospital in 1998.
Dr. Borden has been Board Certified since 1995 and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She is a member of the Floyd County Medical Society, the Indiana State Medical Association and the National Association for Psycho-Social Ob/Gyns. She is also a Clinical Instructor in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Borden is a resident of Floyd Knobs with her husband and three children. In addition to family activities, Dr. Borden enjoys photography, cooking, hiking travel and music.
