Dr. Alons grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology at West Virginia University. After attending medical school, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at West Virginia University, where she served as a Chief Resident in her final year. After residency, she joined Ottumwa Obstetrics and Gynecology group, where she worked for nearly 5 years before joining our practice in July of 2017. Dr. Alons’ professional interests include minimally invasive surgeries and the use of the DaVinci robotic system, treating and diagnosing disorders of the female genital tract, including irregular bleeding and abnormal pap smears, infertility, and general obstetrical care. Dr. Alons is married and together they have 3 children and 1 English Bulldog. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family as well as cooking.
