Dr. Garrison, a native of Greensboro, NC, obtained her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her residency in general surgery at Pitt County Memorial Hospital and her residency in plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. , she received a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Garrison is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
