About Dr. Parajon Jorge Parajon, DDS, MS Dr. Jorge Parajon is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a specialist in orthodontics and dental facial orthopedics. Dr. Parajon completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2001, where he graduated at the top of his class (cum laude). He completed his specialty orthodontic training at Marquette University School of Graduate Orthodontics in 2003. Dr. Parajon was trained in multiple techniques during his orthodontic residency from top specialists in their field. He also earned a Masters of Science degree for original research in the field of "friction mechanics." Dr. Parajon's personal treatment philosophy is to emphasize the prevention of tooth removal to maximize the esthetic benefits of a well balanced facial profile and the achievement of a gorgeous smile! He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Florida Dental Association, the West Coast District Dental Association and the Florida Association of Orthodontists. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Parajon is proficient in both English and Spanish. Away from the office, he volunteers with charitable organizations, and sponsors many schools and extracurricular sports activities.
