Brief Intro

Dr. Jonathan R. Weiser is fully trained in all aspects of modern plastic and reconstructive surgery including: cosmetic surgery of the face and body, breast surgery including reconstruction, augmentation, and reduction, suction-assisted lipectomy, body contouring and all laser procedures. Additionally, his reconstructive experience includes microsurgical techniques of the hand, repairing trauma, cancer, congenital problems such as cleft lips and birthmarks, and all other aspects of reconstructive surgery. A Florida native, Dr. Weiser graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He also attended the University of Florida College of Law and the University of Florida Post Baccalaureate Program before embarking upon his Doctor of Medicine Degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. The doctor completed full training in General Surgery at Lincoln Medical Center, culminating in his term as Chief Resident. As a General Surgeon, Dr. Weiser completed a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Subsequently, Dr. Weiser completed his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Holding licenses in both the states of Florida and New York, Dr. Weiser is board certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. He is a member of the following professional organizations: American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons Broward County Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons Diplomate National Board of Medical Examiners American Medical Association Lipoplasty Society of North America Recipient of the National Leadership Award Dr. Weiser has been in practice since October, 1992.
