Dr. Jonathan Parker is a double board-certified Child and Adolescent, and Adult psychiatrist with a wealth of experience in helping children, adolescents, and adults achieve better mental health. Dr. Parker is a voluntary assistant professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, lecturing and mentoring in the Child and Adolescent Fellowship program.Dr. Parker focuses on the treatment of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, behavioral challenges, anger management as well as anxiety disorders, PTSD, autism, obsessive compulsive disorder, and ADHD.Dr. Parker has held the role of Medical Director for the University of Miami/Jackson inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry unit, where he trained fellows, residents, and medical students in child and adolescent psychiatry. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Parker currently serves as Medical Director for an adult psychiatric unit at Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital and provides coverage to the UM/Jackson Child and Adolescent inpatient unit on weekends.
