Dr. Nikoleit received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, and completed his post graduate training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Illinois Hospital. He practices general orthopaedic surgery with an emphasis on arthroscopic ligament reconstruction and total joint reconstruction. Dr. Nikoleit's experience in collegiate athletics and his strong interest in the treatment of sports-related injuries led to his specializing in cartilage transplantation for athletic knee injuries, and also performs mini knee replacement.
