Dr. Kevin Paulsen was born in Harvard, Illinois and went to grade school and high school in Woodstock, Illinois. He attended college at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana and completed medical school training at the University of Illinois a" Peoria campus. He did his internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and his surgical residency at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Dr. Paulsen is board certified by the American College of Surgeons. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. He is on the active staff at all three hospitals. Dr. Paulsen lives in the Peoria area with his wife and two daughters.
