Dr. Jeffrey H. Yormak joined the practice of Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group in June, 2007. Dr. Yormak previously served as Partner at both NYCONN Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Specialists (2004-2007) and Olympic Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group (1994-2003).
Dr. Yormak received his Doctor of Medicine degree (1988) and Residency training for both General and Orthopaedic Surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine (1988-1993). To complete his specialty training, Dr. Yormak was awarded a Fellowship at the Insall, Scott, Kelly Institute for Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in New York City where he specialized in Sports Medicine and Knee Replacement Surgery (1993-1994).
Dr. Yormak has authored several textbook chapters and research articles on the knee. He has been a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon since 1996. Dr. Yormak is a member in good standing of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
