Jason D’Souza, MD, FACC is an interventional cardiologist with AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology & Cardiovascular Surgery at Shawnee Mission.
He is Board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and adult comprehensive echocardiography and he specializes in complex/high-risk percutaneous coronary interventions.
Dr. D’Souza earned his medical degree from Fr. Muller Medical College, where he earned the President’s Gold Medal, an honor recognizing the college’s best graduating medical student. He then completed an internal medicine residency at AdventHealth Orlando (formerly Florida Hospital), during which time he was named Most Outstanding Resident at Florida Hospital by the Florida chapter of the American College of Physicians. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology, including an appointment as chief fellow, at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute.
Dr. D’Souza is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He has presented and published extensively on a variety of cardiology and internal medicine topics, and has earned numerous awards for outstanding presentations.
When he’s not at the office, Dr. D’Souza enjoys traveling, listening to audiobooks and learning new languages. He is fluent in Hindi and English and is currently learning Spanish.
