Dr. Thomas, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, is one of the most innovative, peer-acclaimed experts in the field.
He completed an Otolaryngology residency at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, a surgical residency at Yale University, and a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Northwestern University. He teaches Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to UIC medical students, residents, and fellowship physicians.
With more than 25 years of expertise, he is involved in the development of the latest techniques and procedures in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Acclaimed for his practice, research, and leadership, he frequently publishes in the most prestigious medical journals and textbooks. He has authored more than 200 scientific papers and publications, including six textbooks.
