Dr. Friedberg earned his doctorate of Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine and served his internship there. After a three-year residency in ophthalmology at Emory, he completed additional Fellowship in Phacoemulsification and anterior segment surgery at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. His areas of expertise are general ophthalmology, cataract surgery (including complicated cases), glaucoma and the treatment of medical retina problems.
