Brief Intro

Dr. Friedberg earned her doctorate of medicine from Emory University School of Medicine with honors and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. She completed a medical/surgical internship in the Emory University system obtaining a broad breadth of experience with children and adults in trauma hospitals, private hospitals and VA hospitals. She then did her Ophthalmology residency at the world renowned University of Pennsylvania Scheie Eye Institute, including training at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Friedberg has taken many courses since then to constantly update and add new techniques to her armamentarium of treatments. She has been awarded Top Doc awards many years and is responsible for medical students and resident education and often presents public lectures. Dr. Andrea Friedberg has many interests and extensive experience in cataracts, glaucoma, eyelid/facial rejuvenation, nutritional support and many types of laser treatments.
