Gregory J. Lareau, M.D. specializes in General Surgery, concentrating on abdominal, laparoscopic, and varicose vein surgery. Sclerotherapy of spider veins are a special interest. He graduated summa cum laude from Providence College in 1982 and received his B.S. He received his M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1986. He did his General Surgery residency at St. Francis Hospital/University of Connecticut, finishing in 1991. He has been on staff at South Shore Hospital since then. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is Board Certified in General Surgery. He is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society.
