Dr. Sita received his medical degree at the Universidad del Norte in Colombia. He completed his internship, and residency in Internal Medicine at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. He also completed his Cardiology fellowship at St. Francis.
Dr. Sita is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Sita was voted Best Internal Medicine Resident at St. Francis Hospital, Evanston in 1989. He was Chief Cardiology Fellow at St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, from July 1991 to June 1992. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
He has served as Chief of Cardiology at Northwest Community Hospital. Dr. Sita has been practicing since 1992. He is on staff at Northwest Community Hospital and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
