I started practicing medicine as a physician assistant, first in adult surgery, then in internal medicine. I then decided to further my education. After completing medical school and my pediatric residency, I have been practicing pediatrics in private practice for over 20 years. I believe Pediatrics is a joyful specialty and I love the opportunity that pediatrics gives me to demystify medicine, calm parental anxiety and empower parents to feel confident in caring for the health needs of their children. Pediatrics is rewarding because the care we give as pediatricians has the potential to influence many generations as well as serve the community at large.
