Eustorgio A. Lopez, MD, DDS, board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, works with the Head/Neck Surgical Oncology Department at MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. Dr. Lopez also serves as the program director for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine as well as clinical assistant professor for the Department of Surgery at Florida International University College of Medicine.
Dr. Lopez received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. He then completed an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery followed by a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. He completed a fellowship in tumor and reconstructive surgery from Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Lopez received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in the Advanced Standing Program. He then completed a general surgery residency follow by a fellowship in hyperbaric medicine and problem wounds from the Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami.
He has many published articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as spoken at many national and international conferences. He is currently a member of many professional organizations including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the America Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
