Dr. Tan-Chiu received her MD degree from Far Eastern University, Manila, Philippines. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Massachusetts Health Care-Memorial, Worcester, Massachusetts, followed by a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pennsylvania. From 2006 to 2018 Dr. Tan-Chiu was the Medical Director and founder of the Florida Cancer Care and the Florida Cancer Research Institute, Plantation. Dr. Tan-Chiu joins us from Guam Regional Medical City Cancer Care Center in Dededo, where she was a Hematologist-Oncologist.Dr. Tan-Chiu's clinical focus is on women's health, particularly breast and gynecologic malignancies. Her research interest focuses on clinical protocols associated with promising new therapies for women with breast and gynecologic malignancies.
