Dr. Edward Naureckas is an expert in pulmonary conditions including asthma, adult cystic fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He specializes in pulmonary function testing to determine the cause and severity of complex lung disorders.Dr. Naureckas researches strategies for improving asthma care in inner city populations. Using databases, he evaluates how asthma medication usage impacts asthma outcomes. He also studies how outdoor air quality effects asthma and other airway diseases. As a co-investigator in the American Lung Association Asthma Clinical Research Network, he participates in nationwide multi-center clinical trials of asthma therapy.
