Dr. Goldman is triple board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi in 1981 and completed his internship at the universitys medical center. He then performed his internal medicine residency and fellowship in cardiology at State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, which he completed in 1986. From 1986 to 1990, Dr. Goldman served as the co-chief of the Division of Cardiology and medical director of the Coronary Care Unit at Jersey City Medical Center. He then served as the director of electrophysiology at St. Vincents Medical Center in Staten Island, New York until 1993, when he moved to Florida. For eight years, Dr. Goldman was the director of electrophysiology at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville. In 2008, he moved to South Florida and joined The Cardiology Center. Dr. Goldman is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and a member of the American College of Physicians.
