Dr. Clay Sligh has made it his mission to bring the best in dentistry right here to Emporia. He graduated from the University of Missouri Dental School in 1991, but his training did not end there. Dr. Sligh quickly realized he could serve patients best by continually offering the best dentistry available anywhere. To do this, he is constantly learning and mastering modern techniques and advanced technologies on the cutting edge of dentistry.  Patients always appreciate Dr. Sligh’s willingness to really listen to their needs. Recognizing that many people do not get the dental care they need, Dr. Sligh joined the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), and trained extensively to learn safe and effective techniques for oral conscious sedation. By offering patients sedation, Dr. Sligh has been able to help people who didn’t know where else to turn for the dentistry they need. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Sligh’s primary goal is to provide his patients with the highest quality of care possible, but he also strives to be part of the community. He has volunteered his time at the K.C. Free Dental Clinic in Kansas City, and he took an active roll in helping establish a Dental Clinic within the Samaritan Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. Dr. Sligh is an active member of the Emporia Chamber, the Emporia Lions Club, and the Board of the Hygiene Program at the Flint Hills Technical School.
