After receiving his BS in Biology from Kansas State University, Dr. Stout earned his medical degree in 2003 from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City and Wichita, KS. He went on to complete his Internship and General Surgery Residency at Mercer University School of Medicine at Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon in 2004. After residency, Dr. Stout completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. As a specialist in vascular surgery, Dr. Stout is highly trained in the diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and conditions affecting the arteries and veins. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Southeastern Surgical Society, the Society of Vascular Surgery, and Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Stout was born and raised on a farm in Kansas, and shared the responsibilities of farm life with his family. Life on a farm instilled a sense of caring and compassion in him that he brings to patient care. Dr. Stout is married with three children, including a set of twins. He has a special interest in community service, and has participated in activities such as Big Sisters and Big Brothers of Manhattan, KS.
