Dr. Carl Liebert has made Naples, Florida his home since 1987, having moved his General Surgery practice from Louisville, Kentucky. He received his baccalaureate degree from the University of Louisville (UL) in Kentucky and received his medical education from the UL medical school. His Internship and Surgical Residency was done at University of Louisville Hospitals from 1964 to 1969. He then served in the United States Navy and was Chief of Surgery and Executive Officer at the US Naval Hospital, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba from 1969 to 1971.
