Dr. Bruce Overton Dr. Overton is a board certified endodontist who has been practicing in the Richmond area for fourteen years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctorate of Dental Surgery degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University. He completed a General Practice Residency at McGuire Veterans Administrative Hospital, and then returned to VCU to earn his certificate in endodontics. His continues his affiliation with VCU as an instructor to the residents in the school's endodontic program. Dr. Overton's community work also involves regularly performing root canals on police service dogs. When Dr. Overton isn't performing root canals or teaching at VCU, he can be found spending time with his two daughters, training for his next marathon, or working on his farm.
