Ayman Tabani, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in May 2019, and she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of Illinois - Chicago in 2015. Born in Pakistan, Dr. Tabani spent her formative years in Ireland, where she cultivated a global perspective through vibrant cultural experiences. Now fluent in English, French, Irish, Urdu, and Hindi she is able to serve a wide community of individuals. She specializes in myopia management and specialty contact lenses, holding a certification in OrthoKeratology with Paragon CRT for Corneal Refractive Therapy. Dr. Tabani’s love for optometry lies in patient interaction and troubleshooting visual needs. She is enthusiastic about preventive eye care, leveraging her background in public health to diagnose and manage conditions, such as myopia and dry eye disease. Dr. Tabani is happily married with two adorable girls and finds immense joy and fulfillment in the precious moments shared with them. Family holds a special place in her heart, coming from a close-knit and supportive background. Outside of work, she has a passion for travel, both internationally and locally. Her favorite places include Hawaii, Dubai, Banff, and Ireland.
