Dr. Villegas is an Oncologist for Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in Clay and Duval Counties. He earned his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Damas Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program in Ponce, PR. In 2003, Dr. Villegas relocated to Florida to pursue Medical Oncology. He completed his fellowship training at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville. Dr. Villegas is an active faculty member and lecturer for the Orange Park Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program. His research interests include breast cancer, lung cancer and immunotherapies.
