Agustin Ramos, MD, FAAP, FACC is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist, Medical Director of Pediatric Cardiology at Florida Hospital for Children and the founding physician of Pediatric Cardiology Consultants, located in Orlando with satellite offices in Celebration, Lake Mary, Daytona, Tavares and Viera, Fla. An acknowledged leader in his field with more than 30 years of experience, he was the first physician to perform a pediatric cardiac intervention procedure in Central Florida and helped usher in a new era in children’s heart health. Continuing his drive to improve cardiac care and outcomes in children, he initiated Project ADAM Florida, which is an effort to install and train personnel to use automated external defibrillators in schools across our region. Dr. Ramos’s specialties include advanced heart diagnostics, non-invasive cardiology, and event and Holter monitoring. He is an honors graduate of the University of Barcelona School of Medicine in Spain and carried out his pediatric internship training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia prior to undertaking his residency and advanced fellowship training at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati.
