Brief Intro

Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I always knew I wanted to help people and have always had a passion for working with children. When my son was first diagnosed with autism, it was a nurse practitioner that heard my concerns and helped us though the process of getting the screening and the services he needed. She inspired me to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse practitioner so that I may help others and serve the people in my community.What I want my patients to know about me:I am passionate about helping and serving my patients and their families. I have a background as a pediatric and neonatal nurse and enjoy educating and empowering families to be advocates and active participants in their child's care.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy spending time on my farm with my two horses, my dog, and my cat. My husband and I have three amazing children and enjoy spending time with them. We like to go camping, hiking, and summer trips to the beach.
