Rachel Harris, MD, is a cardiologist board-certified in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and cardiac MRI. She works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to accomplish treatment goals with care and compassion.
Dr. Harris earned her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine. An internal medicine residency at Duke University Hospital was followed by cardiovascular disease fellowship training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital.
In addition to practicing general cardiology, Dr. Harris brings extensive training in advanced cardiovascular imaging. She completed a cardiac CT practicum at John Hopkins Hospital, as well as an advanced imaging fellowship at the University of South Florida. Dr. Harris also holds a Master of Public Health degree in nutrition from Loma Linda University School of Public Health.
When not at work, Dr. Harris enjoys reading, biking and long walks.
