I believe my primary role as a physician is to be an educator. Most patients have specific goals and desires when it comes to their healthcare. I try to spend less time setting goals, and more time helping patients to achieve the goals they set for themselves. Healthcare is a partnership and I try to encourage all patients to take their health into their own hands by improving the choices they make every day at home. I believe that by working together in this partnership, we can achieve the highest level of mental, physical, and emotional well-being for all of our patients.
