She served a three-year commitment as the Chair for the local American Diabetes Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists starting in 2013. She was awarded the Utah Nurse Practitioner of the year in Clinic Excellence in 2017. She loves to attend live performances such as concerts, plays, and comedy. She likes to travel, cook and spend time with her family and grandchildren.
