Dr. Rutherford received three bachelor’s degrees — in chemical engineering, microbiology, and pure applied chemistry — before graduating with his Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed a residency at the renowned Cleveland Clinic in South Florida, receiving extensive training and experience as an internal medicine physician.
