Brief Intro

Dr. Katie Pannell grew up in northwest Tennessee and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Dr. Pannell then moved to the mountains of Johnson City, Tennessee, where she attended the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. Following medical school, she and her husband traveled to Chattanooga, where she completed a family medicine residency at Erlanger Health System, affiliated with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. Now, Dr. Pannell and her husband are happy to call Chattanooga their home. Dr. Pannell works with her patients to achieve their health goals and improve their overall quality of life. She has interests in all aspects of medical care, but her special interests include preventive medicine, lifestyle medicine, women’s health, mental health, and geriatrics. In her free time, Dr. Pannell enjoys spending time with her husband and friends and playing tennis and disc golf.
