Dr. Jocelyn Hirschman is a Board-certified Family Practice physician. She received her medical degree in 2010 from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her residency at Lawrence Family Medicine. She also holds a Master of Public Health from Tulane.
Dr. Hirschman is comfortable with caring for patients of all ages but is now focusing her practice on caring for those with chronic medical conditions, especially the medical needs of older adults. She appreciates the opportunity of collaborating with patients and their families to deliver compassionate care, ensuring our community’s elders age with dignity, comfort, and the best quality of life.
Originally from Illinois, Dr. Hirschman grew up in a small rural farm town before adventuring out as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa and then ten years as a full-spectrum Family Medicine Physician on the Hopi Indian Reservation.
Outside of work, Dr. Hirschman enjoys being outdoors in our beautiful landscape, with activities like backpacking, kayaking, and biking, as well as learning about the cultures old and new that make this area their home. She also recognizes the value and importance of strong communities and looks forward to contributing to the Cortez-Dolores-Mancos community for years to come.
