Frannie Gaeta, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. She earned her MSW from Radford University in 2011 and became licensed in 2016 through her residency at Family Service of the Roanoke Valley. Frannie transitioned to Carilion Clinic in 2017, focusing on grief and loss in the outpatient clinic. Previously, she spent 12 years in foster care, aiding traumatized children, adolescents, and families. Frannie's grief therapy approach is patient-centered, blending empathy, evidence-based methods, and respect for self-determination. Trained in various treatments, she constantly seeks new ways to support bereaved individuals, fostering healing and renewed life enjoyment.
