Dr. Yamcek received residency training in pediatrics at UCSF Fresno, where she also developed a working knowledge of Spanish. She is board-certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Yamcek and her physician husband have two children. Dr. Yamcek-Meleka has been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance Physician Practice Connections(r) Patient-Centered Medical Home Program (PPC-PCMH). Recognition identifies clinicians who make the most of clinical information to make better decisions and provide better follow-up care.
