Dr. Yun Sun Lee was born and raised in Saipan, CNMI. She graduated with a B.A. in English from Wellesley College in Massachusetts, then worked in New York City before pursuing medicine. She completed her premedical post-baccalaureate programs at Columbia University and University of Hawaii Imi Ho’ola, then attended the John A. Burns School of Medicine. Dr. Lee completed her internship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, and her dermatology residency at University of California, Irvine. She practiced in California and Hawaii in the past ten years in large hospital systems before starting her private practice in 2021.
