Dr. Knapp is currently the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization laboratory, Fuqua Heart Center of Atlanta at Piedmont Hospital. Dr. Knapp is also Past Secretary/Treasurer of the Georgia Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Knapp currently serves as the Medical Director for the Cath Lab at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. He is also involved in cardiovascular research at Piedmont Hospital and formally served on the Board of Directors of the American Cardiovascular Research Institute. He has published articles in prestigious journals including Circulation, American Journal of Cardiology, and Annals of Surgery. He has spoken at numerous conferences, both nationally and internationally, and performed live cases for several intervention programs since 1998.
