William H. Sher, MD earned his bachelor’s degree from New York University and graduated from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, PA receiving his MD in 1980. He completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at New York University – Bellevue Hospital Medical Center.
He is the section Chief of the Department of Otolaryngology at St. Charles Hospital and attending physician at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital, both in Port Jefferson, NY. He holds the academic appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Stony Brook University School of Medicine and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Sher sees patients in all fields of Otolaryngology with a particular interest in thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
