William R. Thorner, DMD Dr. Thorner is originally from Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada. He received a B.A. in biology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1985. He earned his D.M.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1990. He completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Louisville in 1991. After being in private practice in Erlanger and Florence, Kentucky from 1991 to 2003, Dr. Thorner relocated to Ashland, Kentucky. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Eastern Kentucky Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also serves on the local Salvation Army Advisory Board. In his spare time, he enjoys hockey, fishing, playing guitar and spending time with his family.
