Brief Intro

Dr. Stetson attended the University of Southern California where he was a two-time NCAA All-American in volleyball, a member of the NCAA National Championship Volleyball Team in 1980 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He was a five-time Gold Medalist with the US Open National Volleyball Champions and played professionally in the United States and Germany. Dr. Stetson attended the USC Keck School of Medicine and completed his residency at LA County - USC. He completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Southern California Orthopedic Institute, is Board Certified and has been in private practice since 1995. He joined Scott Powell in 2005 to form Stetson Powell Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. Stetson is active in the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine; the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America, where he serves on the Membership Committee; the International Relations Committee; and Orthopedic Learning Center Committee. He has lectured extensively in the United States and taught Orthopedic Surgeons in Cuba and Haiti. He is a Team Physician for the US Olympic Committee and for the US Men's National Volleyball Team. Dr. Stetson is also Associate Clinical Professor at the USC Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Stetson is a member of the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Staff providing care in Orthopedic Surgery.
